Steel rope wire of State Standard GOST 7372-79 is designed for rope manufacturing and is also used in Egoza razor wire https://piranja.ua/en/catalog/barbed-wire manufacturing. High-carbon iron wire of GOST 7372-79 is produced from 0,2 to 5,5 mm in diameter, both galvanized and uncoated. At the customer’s request wire manufacture of intermediate diameter is permitted. Rope iron wire complies with the standards GOST 7372-79, DIN 2078, EN 10264-2, BS 2763. Under GOST 7372-79 standard there are following groups based on galvanized coating thickness: M – for moderate operation conditions, S – for severe operation conditions, SS – for super severe operation conditions. Under DIN 2078 standard thickness of galvanized coating is: uncoated – Vk, standard zinc-coating – noZn, densely galvanized – diZn. Under EN 10264-2 standard, wire is either uncoated or zinc-coated according to B class. Under BS 2763 standard rope wire is uncoated, drawn and galvanized according to Z class and A class.
